Android Developer (P2P)

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new user-facing features in Android applications
• Work together with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
• Help to maintain code quality, organization and automatization
• Create and execute unit tests on your code to ensure its robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs and improve application performance

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Android software development experience
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin/Java
• Good familiarity with popular libraries and design patterns
• Experience in multi-threaded development and network programming
• Experience in performance, quality and responsiveness optimizations
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Slack etc
• Good cross team communication skills
• Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate in both Chinese and English desirable to interact with clients across Asia
• Distributed/remote/global-team working experience
• Your active Github portfolio or published apps in the app store
• Knowledge of the Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
• Familiar with the source code of one or two famous Android libraries
