About the role
Our Data team is growing! We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You'll enhance our fundamental data infrastructure to facilitate our expansion into new business verticals. Taking full ownership of the analytics infrastructure for these products, you'll be responsible for every aspect, from data ingestion to reporting. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of data quality and ensuring the availability of our core datasets.
What you'll be doing
- Drive the evolution of our foundational data infrastructure to support expansion into new verticals.
- Ensure scalability and adaptability of the infrastructure to meet the growing needs of the organization.
- Take ownership of the analytics infrastructure for new products end-to-end.
- Lead data projects from ingestion to reporting, showing your ability to manage scope and work with ambiguity.
- Liaise between Business, Engineering, and Data teams to translate business requirements into effective data capture and schema design.
- Foster collaboration and communication to ensure seamless execution of data-related initiatives.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations for optimizing data architecture and analytics processes.
- Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving skills in addressing the complexities of data space.
What you'll need to be successful
- Strong alignment with our values. Find our values on our career page if you haven’t read up on them yet.
- You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data management and analysis.
- Must have experience owning dbt environment.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R, Looker).
- Experience managing data environments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
