The Role
We are seeking an AI Applied to Robotics Engineer to contribute to our innovative products. As a key member of the Xaba team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing AI-driven robotics automation, while closely collaborating with the leadership team.
What you will do:
Collaborate with Xaba’s cross-functional team of engineers to build AI models leveraging state-of-the-art DNN, CNN and GNN models to augment robotics cognition, awareness and facilitate program generation
Conducting applied research in Robotics Welding, Inspection, Machining, and Assembling to gather data. This supports the development, training, auditing, and validation of physics-based AI models for robotics fabrication processes.
Training and Support:
Provide training and support for deploying AI models in real-world robotic applications.
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure successful AI integration.
Requirements
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to communicate the value of AI-driven robotics solutions to clients.
Participate in technical workshops and contribute to conferences showcasing AI applications in robotics.
Strong communication skills for presenting AI solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with the product development team to assess features and identify areas for improvement.
Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and training materials.
Perform quality assessments of AI-driven robotics solutions.
Identify, prioritize, and report bugs to the development team.
3+ years of working experience in Computer Vision related areas.
Proven experience of 3D and 2D data analysis process: gathering, cleaning, processing and labeling.
Demonstrated competence in setting up vision devices from both hardware (installation, configuration and calibration) and software (integration) perspectives.
Python programming language and core AI (Tensorflow/Pytorch, Scikit-Learn) and CV (Open3D/PCL, OpenCV, Scikit-Image) modules.
Familiarity with reading, understanding and implementing research papers.
A commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on advancements in AI and robotics.
