Position Summary:
The AI Software Engineer II (aka. Software Engineer II - AI) designs and develops software applications. They perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. The Engineer mentors other Software Engineers. They collaborate with other functional groups to conduct software design reviews.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and codes new application features
- Debugs, tests, and troubleshoots application throughout the development process
- Modifies and codes software systems
- Analyzes potential problems and finds solutions to pressing issues
- Mentors other Software Engineers
- Participate in on-call rotation
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least four (4) to six (6) years of relevant software development experience
- Intermediate experience with a relevant programming language (e.g., Java, Javascript, Groovy, etc.)
- Effective problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
- Ability to adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
- Ability to anticipate and adopt innovations in business-building digital and technology applications
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $115,000 or more depending on experience
