Position Summary:

Pax8 is emerging as the leading AI solution provider for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).  The AI Enablement Director leads the transformation of Pax8’s internal practices to align with the development and execution of programs that encourage and enable the use of artificial intelligence across our organization. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, establish best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI practices.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes an AI adoption strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Identifies opportunities for AI integration in various business processes, participates in tool selection, and supports the business in finding success with the AI capabilities they have.
  • Leads internal AI literacy through (for example) collaboration with Learning & Development to create training and awareness programs, building communities of practice, supporting usage champions programs, and so on.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT and AI Engineering, to develop customized AI solutions to meet business needs.
  • Establishes and tracks key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of AI enablement initiatives as well as AI success throughout the business.
  • Participates in cross-functional AI compliance working groups, helping to manage risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and acceptable and ethical use of AI.
  • Helps manage AI-related partnerships and vendor relationships, works with Vendor Experience and Partner Experience teams to manage working groups.
  • Participates in the evaluation of AI technologies for risk and effectiveness, including developing selection criteria and evaluation strategies.
  • Stays current on industry trends, best practices, emerging technologies, and legal obligations to inform company AI strategy.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in data and AI.
  • Deep understanding of various AI technologies and their business applications.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience building communities of practice and creating educational material.
  • Experience in change management and driving organizational adoption of new technologies.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale data and AI initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $140,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
