Job Profile:

The Engineer is responsible for monitoring and management of Kaseya Cloud SaaS production environments & internal servers running on Virtual and Hybrid Data Centres like Vmware, AWS, Microsoft Azure and will be working as part of a global engineering team to contribute the following

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Kaseya’s globally distributed SaaS infrastructure
  • Manage and monitor VMs running in a hybrid virtualization environment (Hyper-V, VMWare, Amazon EC2 and Azure)
  • Enhance and support our global infrastructure and Cloud software monitoring solutions
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with R&D, Customer Success, Support and Operations teams
  • Resolve hardware, operational, infrastructure, performance and application incidents
  • Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolve problems to ensure infrastructure and application stability
  • Provision new servers as required to anticipate production server capacity requirements
  • Participate in weekly maintenance and on-call duties which may require off hours work

Skills and Experience

  • 3 + years Windows Administration experience (Active Directory, IIS, Disk management, Windows Patching, Performance) with troubleshooting and administering Linux-based production systems (Ubuntu, RHEL)
  • Cloud Infrastructure experience - Amazon Cloud or MS Azure
  • Strong fault analysis/determination and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a distributed team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Basic computer and network security skills
  • Willingness to work in Rotational shifts in a 24/7/365 environment and available for after-hours support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Relevant Microsoft/Linux Certifications
